The new cd is hot of the press and baby it is hot. The title song, (written by our man, Willard) LET”S DANCE, starts things off with an energetic zydeco groove, followed by a very cool version of Buckwheat’s hit TROUBLE. From there David Scott and Bruce Gordon take on the mind boggling RIDE ‘EM Cowboy. David and Bruce are spellbinding on this track. Willard tackles Richie’s original JUST AN ANGEL next and bravo, very nice. Bruce backs him up on both button box and piano, really nailing the mood. More about the rest later.
