Keep On Smilin'
Keep On Smilin' is dedicated to Richard Domingue who led the band for 20 years and passed away suddenly from a heart attack following a gig on July 3, 2005. It includes unreleased cuts by Richie
like "How Can I Miss You" and "Everyday Way". The title was taken from a spiritual song Richie had written. Additionally, band members were able to put their hearts and souls into this presentation of some of his original work from early on. There is an unmistakable specialness to this compilation which at a time of great grief, allowed the members to come together and do what they do best, make great music and Keep On Smilin'.

You
will discover a broad spectrum of musical influences in this CD.
Beginning with my Australian roots to the early years of New Orleans
jazz. From the musical traditions of New Caledonia, Tahiti &
Hawaii, and from my musical friendship with 'Trombonist Extraordinaire'
Frank Rehak - and for the past ten years, playing the powerful
music of Louisiana with Richie Domingue and Gator Beat. Special
thanks to Carolyn Domingue for her incredible support. Every musician
on this CD has influenced me in some positive way. I thank everyone
involved for the joy of discovering music together. Heartfelt
appreciation to Diana. This is dedicated to Lorraine and Sidney
Scott for giving me the freedom to explore my life to the fullest.
Music is the Soul. Love David.

Tri Tip Trio
This album gives you the rare opportunity to capture renditions of Clifton Chenier's unique style accompanied by house rocking washboard, harmonica, and sweet soulful vocals. All is bolstered by exceptional drums. There is a perfection to the delivery, they are not only on the same page, they nail it to the letter. Immensely enjoyable you'll be on the zydeco train from start to finish with originals, Clifton tributes, and a host of Louisiana classics, not to mention the grooviest zydeco version of the Rolling Stones' "Miss You".
